About

Blockchain for Good is a movement, a global community, and a collective effort to move toward:

– Technology ethics in favor of humanity and the planet
– Programming the reflects our highest potential for collaboration and openness
– Value distributed networks and sharing
– Shared ownership models
– Digital governance that promotes interdependence
– Social efforts and investment dedicated to preserving the earth
– Regenerative technology that acts like ecosystems
– Efforts that get people feeling empathy, belonging, and connection to one another
– Companies that align with stakeholders in a way that operate more like communities

The group was started by Chelsea Rustrum, a sharing economy pioneer and evangelist, author, and now new economy storyteller. She sees a huge opportunity impact humanity and collective consciousness in a way reflects an evolving story of what it means to be human.

Today, the group operates in all different nodes and places, with the open invitation to create Blockchain for Good in your city (assuming your city hasn’t been established yet).

Scarcity no longer has to be our narrative. We can move toward our shared capacity to be generative, generous, and in relationship with all that is. To get there, we need models that work, which challenge the status quo to be about a new web of possibility. Blockchain technology doesn’t create trustless environments; it builds a ledger of collective agreement.

As we create new collective agreements, the story we move toward, the vision we align on, is more powerful than any of what we’re creating. We must be mindful and moving toward a directed narrative, which demands a different path forward.
